Straight to the Cape -- CANCELED
About this event

Come join the adventure to Cape Flattery. We will meet at 8:30am at the Lower Elwah fuel station with a driver meeting at 8:45 and departing at 9:00 am. We will commence to Hwy 112 to explore some iconic view points of the Straight as well as inland to a twisted road along Lake Cresent pointing us in the direction of Callaham Bay for more scenic beauty of the straight. Neah Bay is where we will stop for lunch at the Warmhouse Restaurant for lunch at approximately 12:00 noon. They serve delicious sandwiches, burgers, salads, fish-n-chips, etc. You will also be able to purchase the Makah Tribe Recreational Use Permit with a map for our outermost stop, Cape Flattery. Please bring comfortable walking shoes to walk the easy 3/4-mile trail to the Cape and back (approx. 1 hour)
The second half of the run will take us back on Hwy 112 for some more scenic stops along the straight ending our trip at historic Salt Creek for some photo shoots of the cars going through the bunker.
