About This Event
This is an epic seven day, 2000+ mile journey for Club Miata Northwest!  The drive starts in Centralia, WA before heading to the Pacific Coast.  There we'll turn and drive south on the Pacific Coast Highway through Oregon and into the Redwoods of Northern California to reach our furthest point south.  Along the way will be some twisty side loops to enjoy in addition to the scenery.  On the return we'll cut inland to zig-zag through the Klamath and Siskiyou mountains on the Oregon / California border, visit Crater Lake, swing through Bend, and drive across fresh lava fields in the Cascades as we motor our way back up to Washington.  

The drive is scheduled to start on 8-31-2025 and return to the Kelso, WA area on the evening of 9-5-2025 in time to join in on the Mt. Hood Miata Club's North Cowlitz County Tour on September 6th (think of Sept 6th as the last day of the drive).

Be Prepared For
Epic scenery
Stupendous twisty roads
8-ish hours of driving / day (not including breaks and meal stops)
A brisk pace!  This is not going to be a leisurely drive.

This is an ambitious club drive stretching over 7 days and 2000+ miles of driving.  We'll be covering about 300 miles per day with some days slightly less and some days slightly more.  The focus is on driving incredible and fantastic roads we don't get in Washington.  Because of this there will be minimal time for sightseeing.

Lodging
Each participant is responsible for THEIR OWN LODGING ARRANGEMENTS each night of the trip.  

Make plans accordingly and book your lodging early.  Below is a list of dates and towns where you will need to find a place to stay.  Some places may be smaller than others and we'll be on the tail end of prime vacation season.  Book early but be flexible.  You might need to find a place within a half hour of these cities.  These will be where we'll start the next day.  Morning start times will be approximately 8:30 each day.

Special Notes
Given the nature of this trip we will not be able to pre-drive the route.  Event organizers will make every effort to verify routes are open and passable.  But come with a sense of adventure and be prepared to be flexible for on-the-fly re-routing if it's necessary.

Participant Limit
This event will be limited to 10 cars to keep the group manageable for such a long duration trip.  There is a wait-list after the first 10 registrants and if we find that we're getting multiple folks in the same car we'll open registration again until we reach a max of 10 cars.
